:: Women In Business ::
Tipperary North Women in Business Network was launched in September 2001 by An Tánaiste and Minister for Enterprise, Trade and Employment, Mary Harney. It is open to all women in North Tipperary who are already in, or wish to start up, their own business.
The overall aim of the Network is to introduce women to entrepreneurship and the fundamentals of starting their own enterprise and to provide a forum/support group for those already engaged in new or established business.
The Mission of the Network is:
Empowering Women to Succeed in Business
The Tipperary North Women in Business Network can offer the following:
- an opportunity to share business ideas and experiences
- access to new business skills and management techniques
- inclusion in promotional, exhibition and networking/social events
- membership of a business support group/referral network
- a web presence through the Tipperary North County Enterprise Board’s business directory and later inclusion in their “virtual exhibition centre”.
The Tipperary North Women in Business Network is run by an independent committee Click to see details of committee. The Network is funded by the Tipperary North County Enterprise Board Ltd, with support from the Irish Government and the EU Structural Funds under the National Development Plan 2007-2013.
