Rita Guinan, Chief Executive

Rita joined the Board in mid April 2002 with 20 years experience in local development. Prior to moving to Tipperary, Rita had worked for an 8 year period as Assistant CEO of the Offaly County Enterprise Board. Previously Rita had worked with Offaly County Council as Project Manager of the Offaly LEADER 1 programme, and for Shannon Development as a Project Executive and Executive Assistant based in Offaly. Rita is familiar with the issues facing small business and is consequently anxious to put in place broad ranging and relevant supports which will have a real and positive impact on SME’s in North Tipperary in the future.


Eleanor Forrest, Assistant Chief Executive

Eleanor has joined the Board since June 2004, and brings with her wide-ranging knowledge gained while working in a Plc environment and in rural development. Previously she held a senior management role within Ballyhoura Development Ltd as Economic Development Coordinator and prior to this she worked with Golden Vale Plc as Group Milk Quota Manager. Eleanor holds a Bachelor of Common Law degree from UCC and a Masters in Business Administration from University of Limerick.


Geraldine Manning, Business Development Officer

Geraldine joined the Board in July 2002 and brings with her extensive experience gained while working with two indigenous firms. Geraldine has first-hand knowledge of early start-up operations and has encountered many of the barriers facing small business today. Geraldine also possesses eight year’s banking experience gained with the Central Bank. In the role of Business Development Officer she is responsible for the provision of information, advice and supports to new and existing businesses and the co-ordination of the annual calendar of training initiatives.

Madeline Ryan, Administrator
 

Madeline Ryan joined the Board in June 2007.  Madeline previously worked for the The Irish Trade Board, Tipperary Institute and North Tipperary County Council.
