The Tipperary North County Enterprise Board is a private company limited by guarantee and has 14 Directors/Members drawn from the following interest groups in accordance with the Operating Agreement executed between the Board and the Minister for Enterprise, Trade and Employment and also as laid down in the Memorandum and Articles of Association of the Company:-
- North Tipperary County Manager
- Shannon Development/Enterprise Ireland Nominee
- A FÁS Representative
- A nominee of an Employer Organisation
- A nominee of a Trade Union Organisation
- A nominee of a Farmers Organisation
- Four nominees of North Tipperary County Council
Four other persons to include Local Business People or Local Community Organisation Representatives or persons from a Local Economic Development Organisation.

The Evaluation Committee
Tipperary North County Enterprise Board is advised by an independent Evaluation Committee on the most appropriate level and form of assistance for all eligible enterprise projects having regard to, among other things:
- The objectives of the County Enterprise Action Plan and any sectoral objectives therein
- National and EU Commission Policies in relation to sensitive sectors
- The quality, local relevance and cost effectiveness of the project
- The prospect of attracting funding and assistance for the project from sources other than the Board.
The Evaluation Committee comprises representatives from the financial, banking and private sectors in addition to nominees of Shannon Development and North Tipperary County Council. The current committee comprises:
